The Uniteen group for grades six through eight meets each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. to explore spiritual truths. Uniteen groups provide a safe place for youth in middle school to connect with others and to explore what they believe. As the Unity East Uniteen Chapter grows, they meet for social outings to provide a place for our young teens to socialize and to develop healthy relationships. Uniteens meet twice a year to attend Unity regional Uniteen retreats, known as Unitreats. These occasions provide weekend events for spiritual exploration.
Uniteen activities include:
- Service opportunities – in-reach within Unity East, and outreach to the greater community
- Sunday leadership opportunities – participate in the Sunday worship service
- Fundraisers for their Uniteen outings and retreats
- Parental involvement — Parents are invited to attend retreats and participate in the spiritual development of their preteens
