Following the work at Unity Village, Jill served as senior minister of Unity of Syracuse, NY. In 2012, she returned to her roots in Ohio to serve as a caretaker for her elderly mother. Shebegan serving with Unity Spiritual Center in July 2014.

Jill shares this about her spiritual journey:

“I was raised in the Lutheran Church. I never felt akin with the Lutheran doctrine, but kept at it for several years. As a young adult, while I traveled throughout the U.S. and Europe, I continuously searched for a church I could call home. It seemed futile. Back home in Chicago, I found my way to my first Unity Church. The first Sunday I attended Unity, these words touched my soul at depth: ‘God is a presence within you and loves you just the way you are.’

“Wow! The search was over. I had found my spiritual home. After years of searching, I found a spiritual path that opened my heart to Spirit. It was as if my lifelong spiritual thirst had been fulfilled. Since that first Sunday at Unity of Chicago in 1982 until the present, I have been committed to my inner spiritual journey, using Unity as my foundation. After awhile I engaged in the Unity classes offered at my church so that I could enhance and deepen what I was learning on Sunday mornings. This led to completion of the SEE program as well as the Leadership program culminating with my certification as a licensed Unity teacher.

“Like many other people, I found that Unity was the perfect fit for me. My spiritual journey continues, because I find the more I learn, the more I realize there is more to learn and be revealed from even deeper levels. It is my great pleasure to continue to transform my life with these teachings, and I am blessed to hold the space for others to transform their lives.”
